I had just about decided I wasn't going to go for sunrise it wasn't looking that good early on. I started doing some other things when I looked out and noticed the sky. Needless to say I decided to go out and shoot. All the way there I kept looking and seeing how the sky was incredible hoping it would hold on a little longer. I got there finally trekked out through the water and found out that for the best composition I would have to stand in four and a half feet of 33 degree water. My waders go up to my chest or about five feet so needless to say my coat got soaked. After 30 or so minutes I had snapped quite a few shots that I couldn't wait to check out. This one is my favorite from that morning. I hope you like it.
Hi, I've been in photography most of my life since I was fourteen when I shot film. I switched to digital back in 2009 and am amazed at the changes since then.
