Artist's Description
This shot was taken on a gorgeous August day from my boat. I love this tree which is found on Higgins Lake. This Point called Detroit Point has a sandbar that goes out 100 to 150 yards with the water being only a foot deep or less. I've heard that many people have lost the lower units of their motors by not going out far enough around this point. This spot is a favorite spot for boaters to anchor and spend the day playing in the water or just relaxing on their boat.
