This shot was taken near the end of January on a bitter cold day about 150 yard out on Lake Michigan. With the outer Lighthouse totally Ice covered this is a once in a lifetime shot. The rain and rising temperatures of 50 for the following two days completely melted it off the lighthouse.

Hi, I've been in photography most of my life since I was fourteen when I shot film. I switched to digital back in 2009 and am amazed at the changes since then.
